When individuals get into a vehicle that they are not driving, they are essentially putting their trust in the driver to get them to their destination safely. Unfortunately, there may be circumstances under which individuals may not know their driver and may unknowingly be in an unsafe situation. If drivers fail to operate vehicles in a safe manner, car accidentscould occur.

A recent accident involving a church bus resulted in the death of a young boy in Indiana. It was reported that the bus was traveling on Interstate 70 when the driver failed to remain on the roadway. As a result, the bus overturned, and at least one individual was ejected from the bus. There were multiple people on the bus at the time of the accident.

A 6-year-old boy was thrown from the bus in the accident, and he suffered fatal injuries. Eleven other individuals were injured in the incident. It was noted that the driver of the bus became pinned beneath it in the crash, and he was flown from the scene for treatment. Authorities believe that the incident was the result of driver error. It was also noted that the bus driver had a suspended license at the time of the crash as well as a warrant for his arrest.

Any time car accidents result in the death of an individual, the situation is harrowing. The family of the young boy killed in this Indiana accident are likely devastated by the outcome. If they wish, they may want to consider their legal options in order to seek compensation for funeral expenses, emotional losses and other damages.
